This study aims at gathering demographic details of the Syro Malabar youth - their place of residence, occupation, education, marital status, parish or community that they are belonging to, etc., in view of the youth regarding their own challenges in living faith in the modern society It envisages a flavor of much-needed pastoral strategy ahead. Each eparchy will have a data set of the youth of their own living inside and outside the eparchy so that they will be able to address the issues of youth. This study will enhance the designs of activities for the youth, which will eventually be a help to reframe the objectives of youth associations in local, regional and international levels. It also will cherish eparchial youth ministry and youth catechism based on a proper data on youth of the day. It further helps the Major Archiepiscopal Commission for Youth to form an appropriate policy for youth ministry in the Syro Malabar Church.
