The Research Centre of PAROC adopts and introduces inductive methods and processes employed in interdisciplinary research, such as qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods appropriate for sociopastoral studies leading to theological reflections. It engages in critical theological reflection based on the field data made available by scientific inquiry and gives guidance in pastoral planning, community building, collaborative ministry, conflict resolution, etc. The Institute envisages that the research will enable communities of every religion to articulate their social, cultural, political, and economic policies.
